Backhoe Definition– A backhoe is a large machine used to dig and remove dirt.
Ideal Home Garden Explains
A backhoe is typically used for large digging projects where a handheld shovel won’t be sufficient. The backhoe features a large claw-like bucket attached to a sturdy, central arm, whose two sections are known as the dipper (the half attached to the bucket) and boom (the half attached to the cabin). The arm is affixed to a cabin where the driver can control the movement of the bucket, arm and machine itself. A backhoe is sometimes also referred to as a rear actor or back actor.
