Beadboard is frequently seen in Cape Cod and country style homes, and features thin wooden panels running vertically along the wall. The panels can reach from floor to ceiling, or be used as wainscoting, which covers only the first several feet of the wall, from the floor up. Beadboard is typically only used in bathrooms and kitchens.
